He always advised my brother "Pito" who is a tall dark Puerto Rican to never walk alone, never wear his head phones, always keep his eyes open for suspicious people, respect authority and never walk with the wrong crowd. My father always feared situations like these. I think this was a loose, loose situation for Trayvon and his family. But had Trayvon taken the gun and shot and killed Zimmerman, it might have been viewed as a thug killed a white man. Either Zimmerman would have been dead or Trayvon, Oblviously, we know how it happened. I feel that, that in itself cause the racial tensions and accusations of injustice.there was only two outcomes after the scuffle that happened with a gun involved. Even though perhaps Trayvon might have done some questionable things, Zimmerman deliberately chose to pursue him. It was the stereotype threat that lead Zimmerman to believe that Trayvon was guilty. He also confesses that he doesn’t feel like he’s really involved as he sits in the courtroom. He says, I guess making you live is part of the punishment.

Sixty-four percent of African Americans cited a "police conspiracy" to frame Simpson. According to a n ABC News-Washington Post poll at the time of the case found that 70 percent of whites thought Simpson was guilty and 74 percent of blacks thought he was not guilty. But to many black Americans, Simpson was set up by racist Los Angeles police, and the prosecution's case was riddled with holes.
